Academics :

1997 to 1999 - Master's degree in Fine Arts from Stella Maris College, Madras. Gold medallist and rank holder.

July 2000 - Qualified in Eligibility for Lectureship through National Educational Test by University Grants Commission, India.

1986 to 1989 - Diploma course in Drawing, Painting and Sculpture at Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts, Chennai, under the tutelage of Painter K.Sreenivasulu and Sculptor Kalasagaram Rajagopal .

1986 to 1987 - Apprentice to Sculptor Kalasagaram Rajagopal.

Professional Experience

Assisted Sculptor Kalasagaram Rajagopal in over a dozen commissioned Portrait Sculptures (From 1987 to 1995)

Received and accomplished several Commissions for Sculptures (Portraits and thematic) and Murals in Bronze, Fibreglass reinforced Resin, Plaster and Terracotta.

Lectured in the Fine Arts Department of Stella Maris College intermittently from October 1999 to March 2004.

Founded Krishna Nupur Cultural Trust in Madras, a registered non-profit foundation to encourage art, art therapy, craft and culture among children and challenged people (since May 1995).

Participated in several Group and Solo exhibitions. Designed and executed Landscaping of gardens for private residences (since 1995).
